This tour felt like waking up with the Mekong itself—calm, alive, and full of stories waiting to be told. Lam was more than a guide; he was a warm storyteller who made every moment feel personal and meaningful. The floating market was magical in the early morning light, and tasting the freshest pineapple straight from the boat was a small but unforgettable joy.
The fruit garden felt like a secret oasis, where each fruit carried a story and a flavor I never knew before. I especially loved how Lam patiently explained the local life along the river—it wasn’t just sightseeing, it was truly connecting with the culture. The noodle house was a highlight, colorful and so authentic, and the noodle pizza was surprisingly delicious.
Ending the day at the cacao farm with fresh cacao milk and stories about chocolate-making was the perfect sweet touch. It wasn’t rushed or commercialized; it was genuine, heartfelt, and so much fun. I left feeling grateful for the simple beauty and kindness of this place and the people.
David was an amazing guide who made this tour truly unforgettable! Starting early at the Cai Rang floating market, I loved the lively atmosphere and learning about the river life while enjoying the freshest pineapple—such a wonderful way to say good morning to Vietnam. The boat trip to the fruit garden was peaceful and educational, and tasting exotic fruits was a real treat. Visiting the family-run noodle house was a highlight; watching the noodle-making process and trying the unique noodle pizza was fascinating and delicious. The stop at the organic cacao farm was eye-opening, and the cacao milk and wine were delightful surprises. The included lunch was authentic and satisfying. David’s storytelling brought everything to life, making this a well-rounded, immersive experience. Highly recommend!
