  • Pick-up
    Pickup: At 5:00 AM (or 7:00 AM), our English-speaking tour guide will pick you up from your hotel (if selected option) by car and transfer you to Ninh Kieu Pier to board an authentic small boat (sampan).
    Arrive at Cai Rang Floating Market – a must-see in Can Tho, Mekong Delta. Your guide will explain why it is an early morning floating market and how it is slowly disappearing. The experience includes the best noodle soup on the river (vegetarian option available). Find a reason to interact with the river life and enjoy fresh fruits during your tour.
    Leave the crowds and tourist boats behind and enjoy a peaceful sampan ride through the hidden canals of Can Tho, Mekong Delta. Slow down and feel the calm of the Mekong as you drift past lush greenery and quiet waterways — a serene experience you will not find on the main river.
    Visit the Mekong fish and farmers market (non-touristy) and see the Delta’s true heartbeat. It is where locals trade fresh fish, fruits, and produce in a lively, authentic setting untouched by mass tourism. You will witness real daily life, colorful scenes, and the strong sense of community that sustains the Mekong.
    Fresh seasonal tropical fruits are also included during the tour.
    The sampan continues to an organic cacao farm, where your guide will share interesting stories about cacao, Mr. Cacao, and how to make chocolate, wine, and cosmetics. Enjoy a glass of cacao milk (included).
    The sampan keeps reaching to fruit garden, you will visit and walk around the local fruit garden where the guide will tell you interesting stories about local Mekong countryside life, homegrown garden and fruits.
    Around 11:00 AM, you’ll join a hands-on cooking class and prepare delicious local Vietnamese dishes for lunch in an airy tropical garden.
    After lunch, the tour comes to an end. You will be transferred back to your hotel or meeting point by car/taxi, arriving around 1:00 PM (or 2:30 PM), depending on your selected tour option.

    Authentic Flavors and Scenic Views on the Mekong!

    The Cai Rang floating market tour with guide Nam was an amazing insight into the daily life of Can Tho’s locals. The fresh pineapple on the boat was a tasty welcome to the vibrant floating market. We enjoyed cruising through lush fruit gardens and sampling native fruits, which was a treat for the senses. The highlight was definitely the traditional noodle house — the noodle pizza was surprisingly delicious! Our visit to the organic cacao farm was both informative and fun, tasting cacao wine and milk straight from the source. The local lunch was hearty and authentic. Nam was attentive and knowledgeable, making sure we had a fantastic experience from start to finish.

    A Colorful and Delicious Mekong Morning!

    Our day started bright and early with a wonderful boat trip to the Cai Rang floating market. Our guide, Linh, shared fascinating stories about the market’s history and the vibrant river life. We loved tasting the freshest pineapple right on the boat — such a perfect way to say “Good Morning Mekong!” The tour continued to a beautiful fruit garden where we sampled a variety of seasonal fruits and learned about local agriculture. The highlight for me was visiting the traditional noodle house — the colorful noodles and homemade noodle pizza were incredible! Finally, the visit to the organic cacao farm and tasting cacao milk and wine was a delightful surprise. The included lunch was authentic and delicious. Linh made the whole experience smooth and fun. Highly recommend this tour!
