+ Forest & wetland conservation
About an hour drive from Can Tho city, the 2,800-hectare wetland conservation is one of Can Tho hidden gems for anyone who loves to see a real Mekong Delta beside Can Tho floating market.
Exploring and weaving in the untouched wetland of the Mekong delta by boat gives the best experience about the wildlife and nature. Wonderful natural green canals and feeling like nowhere in Vietnam. Then, get to the 25-meter observation tower to enjoy the fascinating view over the wetland forest and the stunning seasonal rice fields. (About one and a half hours in the forest, more or less, depend on your speed and birdwatching time). Take an amazing light trekking about 1,2km (or boat again, transfer back to the station if you do not want the easy trekking with the flat path) in nature for watching native birds.
+ Giant ficus microcarpa tree
Visit a famous old giant ficus microcarpa tree - a great place for VC to camouflage and hide means of warfare and trained guerrillas. Your guide will absolutely explain more interesting things about war sides in the Mekong region.
+ Around 18:00 PM, finish the tour at the hotel in Can Tho City. -
Day 2: Can Tho morning tour: 05:00 AM – 12:00 NOON; A/c Car, Sampan, Bike, Lunch+ At 5:00 AM, our car and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to the boat station for embarking the sampan – an authentic traditional small boat for the tour.

Your guide will explain and tell you why "early market" "why floating market here" and "why floating market is getting smaller after every 365 days" "why we should see it in real life, real smell before it disappears" and more. The experience includes the best noodle soup on the river tour. Even our guide will take care of your vegetarian breakfast as well. Find a reason to interact with the river life and enjoy the freshest pineapple in your tour.
+ Can Tho rice noodle factory (not rice paper)
Firstly, we do not want you to miss this place. They call it a factory but actually it is run by a family and a lot more authentic than you expect (no shops, no souvenirs). Secondly, the rice noodle is not rice paper. How and Why? Your guide will tell you! You’ll be impressed by the colorful rice noodles, and how fascinating the rice noodles are made by locals. The tour includes a yummy rice noodle pizza made by a member of the family.

It is an educational and fun trip to learn some things about the native trees and fruits, leaves and flowers at the fruit garden. The tour includes walking around the garden and listening to the tour guide’s stories and tasting the fresh seasonal fruits.
+ Can Tho small canals, quiet, empty and with no tourists
What a romantic trip! Leave the crowds and the market behind and enjoy an intimate peaceful sampan ride in the small canals in the village. Watching the local children playing in the water, the locals preparing things for their daily routines. You may catch the silhouettes of a gentle woman quietly taking guests across the canals by a tiny boat and the more.

Can Tho Rice Noodle Factory & Villages
Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
This two-day tour through the Mekong Delta was truly one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever had. From the moment our guide Hieu picked us up, his warm and knowledgeable presence set the tone for an amazing experience. Cruising through the untouched wetlands felt like entering a secret world, so peaceful and alive with bird songs and lush greenery. The boat ride winding through narrow canals offered a sense of calm that I hadn’t felt in ages. The trek through the forest was easy but rewarding—spotting native birds and learning about the delicate ecosystem was fascinating. I especially loved visiting the giant ficus microcarpa tree, where Hieu shared gripping stories about its role during the war, adding a powerful historical layer to our journey. Ending the tour watching the sunset over the rice fields from the observation tower was breathtaking and deeply moving. This tour isn’t just sightseeing; it’s a chance to connect with Vietnam’s natural beauty and rich history in a way that stays with you long after. If you want to escape the crowds and experience something genuine and soulful, this is the perfect trip.
This two-day tour is the perfect way to immerse yourself in both the natural and cultural richness of the Mekong Delta without feeling rushed. Every part of the itinerary felt intentional and meaningful, and our guide, Minh, was an absolute gem—insightful, warm, and great at adapting the pace to our energy and interests.
Day One was a peaceful introduction to the Delta’s lesser-known treasures. The wetland conservation area was absolutely breathtaking—quiet canals winding through lush greenery, with bird calls echoing as we drifted along in the boat. The light trekking to spot birds and visit the observation tower gave us stunning panoramic views of the forest and rice fields. We also visited a giant ficus microcarpa tree, which Minh brought to life with his engaging stories about wartime history. It was educational without ever feeling heavy, and we ended the day with a deep appreciation for the hidden sides of Can Tho.
Day Two started bright and early, and it was worth every minute. Watching the sunrise over the Cai Rang floating market from a quiet sampan was pure magic. Minh explained the economic and cultural role of the market and the challenges it faces today. We had the best noodle soup breakfast of our trip right there on the river.
The tour continued to a local rice noodle workshop, where we were welcomed like family and tasted a unique rice noodle pizza (surprisingly good!). From there, it was on to a fruit garden, a relaxing cruise through peaceful small canals, and then a fun bike ride through shaded paths and village backroads. Every moment felt like a window into authentic local life.
We ended the experience with a visit to the organic cacao farm, where we learned how chocolate, wine, and even skincare products are made from cacao. The cold cacao milk was the perfect finale.
With a delicious lunch included, smooth logistics, and no touristy gimmicks, this two-day tour hit every note. If you’re looking for an experience that’s informative, scenic, and authentic from start to finish—this is it.
