    Mekong Morning Magic

    This tour was absolutely beautiful. Lâm, our guide, picked us up right on time and we started the day with a boat ride into the floating market. Watching locals trade fruits and enjoying fresh pineapple right on the river felt surreal. Then we floated through small canals to a peaceful orchard where we sat beneath jackfruit trees and tasted fruits I’d never seen before. The rice noodle house was a delight — so much color and warmth from the family. The “noodle pizza” was crunchy and flavorful. Cacao farm? Smelled like chocolate dreams. We got to try cacao milk and some wild cacao wine! Finished it all with a relaxed lunch, simple but deeply satisfying. So many memories in just one day.

    Ein Stück echtes Vietnam

    Mit Hieu unterwegs zu sein war eine Freude – freundlich, humorvoll, kenntnisreich. Der Morgen begann auf dem Boot Richtung Cai Rang, wo wir frische Ananas bekamen und das geschäftige Treiben beobachten konnten. Danach fuhren wir durch ruhige Kanäle in einen Obstgarten – Natur pur. Die Reisnudelwerkstatt war für mich ein echtes Highlight. Handgemachte Nudeln, freundliche Familie, und das “Noodle Pizza” war leckerer als erwartet. Die Kakaofarm war informativ und die Kostproben sehr lecker. Das Mittagessen danach war einfach, aber perfekt. Danke Hieu – diese Tour hat mein Bild vom Mekong geprägt!
