Honestly, I’m not usually a tour person, but this one completely changed my mind. Chris was not just a guide; he was like a friend showing us around his hometown. We started at the floating market with steaming coffee and friendly boat vendors—so lively and beautiful. Chris even got us to try pineapple dipped in chili salt—delicious! The fruit garden was shady and peaceful, great to walk around after the boat. At the noodle place, I couldn’t stop smiling—watching the rice sheets flip on the hot plates, then enjoying that crispy noodle pizza. The cacao farm was next level, learning about the fermentation process, and ending with a cacao wine shot! Our lunch afterwards was filling and flavorful. You don’t feel rushed, you feel immersed. That’s rare. Book this. Ask for Chris.
We booked this last minute, and it turned out to be one of our best travel memories. Minh is a wonderful guide—funny, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. The floating market wasn’t just a tourist spot; Minh explained its economic and cultural role, which added depth to the visit. We sat back on the boat with pineapple slices, watching the river life. Later, we walked through the fruit garden, and Minh pointed out fruits I had never seen before. At the noodle house, we met the kindest family. The noodle-making was hypnotic, and the noodle pizza was so tasty. My personal favorite? The cacao farm! I never expected to be so fascinated by chocolate making, but Minh made it so engaging. Cacao wine is surprisingly good! Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a real Mekong vibe.
