Leaving Ho Chi Minh City at 8am, I had no idea such beauty and calm awaited. Minh was warm and funny, sharing insights that made the places feel more alive.
Sa Dec’s flower village was dreamy — rows upon rows of blossoms, locals tending their plants with care. We even had time to take a few photos with women wearing traditional áo bà ba among the flowers, which Minh said was part of the local culture.
Xeo Quyt was fascinating — it felt like time stood still. Minh told stories of resistance and survival as we floated quietly through the flooded forest. After that, the ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le added a romantic ending to a day filled with texture and history.
