Chris made this tour come alive with his passionate storytelling and relaxed energy. The flower village was like a Vietnamese garden of Eden — I couldn’t stop taking photos!
Then came Xeo Quyt, and wow… it felt like we were entering a secret world. The sampan gliding under vines, the forest echoing with silence — pure magic. And knowing the historical context added so much depth.
We ended the day in the charming town of Sa Dec, with an old love story at the Huynh Thuy Le house. I didn’t expect the tour to be so poetic, but it was.
Thomas was an excellent guide — friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. The flower village in Sa Dec was colorful and peaceful, with rows and rows of exotic flowers I’d never seen before.
The sampan ride through Xeo Quyt forest was the highlight. Calm water, dense greenery, and the fascinating story of how Viet Cong fighters lived there — it was both beautiful and humbling.
I loved how the day blended nature with history and ended with romance — visiting the house of “The Lover” and hearing the real-life love story. A perfect day before arriving in Can Tho.
