From the first step in Sadec’s flower village, I felt like I had walked into a painting. The fragrance, the colors – it was enchanting. But the soul of this tour lay in the hidden paths of Xeo Quyt forest. Hannah, our guide, spoke with such reverence and clarity that I felt completely drawn into the stories of the resistance fighters. The Huynh Thuy Le house brought me to tears – its love story echoing through the halls. The journey ended in Can Tho, but a part of me is still floating along the quiet waterways of that forest.
What struck me most was the ecological richness of the Xeo Quyt forest. Thomas, our guide, was an enthusiastic storyteller and very respectful of the environment. The sampan ride through this untouched ecosystem was peaceful and eye-opening. I appreciated how the tour balanced cultural stops like the flower village and ancient house with immersive nature experiences. The local lunch was fresh and flavorful. It was an enlightening day that reminded me how important it is to preserve both natural and cultural heritage.
