The tour was an incredible blend of nature, culture, and history. Lam, our guide, was not only knowledgeable but deeply passionate about sharing Vietnam’s past and present with us. The sampan ride through Xeo Quyt was like floating through another world. The dense foliage, the silence broken only by bird calls, and the hidden wartime bunkers gave me chills. The ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le was incredibly romantic – especially after hearing the real-life story behind “The Lover.” This wasn’t just a tour, it was an emotional journey. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to connect more deeply with Vietnam.
From the moment our guide Duy greeted us with his warm smile, I knew it was going to be a special day. The journey from Ho Chi Minh City was smooth, and the first stop at the flower village felt like entering a dream. As a photographer, I couldn’t get enough of the vibrant colors and exotic flowers. But the true highlight for me was the peaceful sampan ride through Xeo Quyt forest. Duy explained the historical significance of the Viet Cong bunkers hidden beneath the canopy, and I felt like I was drifting through a living piece of history. The lunch was beyond expectations, and the ancient house in Sadec was both romantic and haunting. I ended the day in Can Tho with my heart full. Absolutely unforgettable.
