This was exactly the kind of day I didn’t know I needed—gentle, peaceful, and full of meaning. Danh was our guide, and he was excellent: very patient and knowledgeable, with a soft, kind manner.
The flower village was stunning—rows and rows of carefully cultivated flowers. Danh shared that many families have been growing them for generations. It was quiet and photogenic, but also alive with activity.
Then came Xeo Quyt, which absolutely amazed me. I didn’t expect such an untouched, mystical place. Floating through the water in total silence, then spotting old bunkers between the tree roots—it was haunting in the best way.
The house from The Lover was beautifully preserved and full of atmosphere. Danh told us the full story and made it even more special.
Lunch was homey and tasty. This tour gave me space to breathe and think. Highly recommend if you need a reset.
Chris made this tour one of the best we’ve had in Vietnam. His pacing was relaxed, his stories fascinating, and his love for the Mekong region truly showed.
The Sadec flower village was beyond lovely. It wasn’t crowded, and walking between rows of fresh blossoms under the morning sun felt like therapy.
Xeo Quyt forest was the absolute highlight. We sat quietly in the boat, gliding through dense green and spotting camouflaged bunkers. The stillness, the war history, and the natural beauty created a unique mix of emotions.
The visit to the old house and temple brought the day to a graceful close. Chris explained the significance of both places with care and insight.
A perfect Mekong experience. Go for it, and ask for Chris!
