This was probably the most surprising and emotionally rich tour we’ve done in the Mekong Delta. Hannah was our guide, and she was absolutely brilliant—thoughtful, organized, and very kind.
The flower village was a gentle start to the day, but it really set the mood for what was to come. The rows of orchids, marigolds, and tropical flowers felt like a secret garden.
Then Xeo Quyt blew us away. Floating on a little sampan through dense flooded forest with only the sound of water and birds… and then realizing that hidden bunkers were scattered all around. It was surreal.
Later, we visited the house that inspired The Lover. It was a beautiful building, and Hannah’s explanation gave depth to the experience. The lunch was satisfying and tasty—true Vietnamese home-cooking.
I’d recommend this tour to anyone who wants more than just a touristy excursion.
