This tour had everything I love: beautiful landscapes, a touch of history, and just a hint of romance. David was a fantastic guide, very well-spoken and intuitive. He adapted the pace to our group and gave us time to really absorb each location.
Sadec’s flower village was like a dreamscape. So many colors, and I loved seeing flowers I’d never seen before. The scent of fresh blossoms everywhere!
Xeo Quyt forest was totally unexpected. I had no idea such a lush place existed in the Mekong. Floating through the quiet forest, seeing the war relics, it gave me a deep respect for what happened here.
The house of Huynh Thuy Le and the story behind it made me want to watch L’Amant again. It’s strange how a place can carry such emotional weight even decades later.
A special thank you to David for making everything so personal.
What an incredible blend of nature, history, and romance. Our guide, Lâm, was outstanding—his knowledge, his calm presence, and the way he tied everything together made this a standout day in our Vietnam trip.
The flower village in Sadec was peaceful and colorful—like a giant open-air botanical garden. It was lovely to see the locals tending their plants with such care.
Xeo Quyt forest was mysterious and beautiful. Gliding silently through flooded forests while Lâm pointed out camouflaged bunkers from the war gave me goosebumps.
I didn’t expect the emotional reaction I had at the Huynh Thuy Le house. Maybe because I read The Lover back in school, but being there brought it all to life.
Lunch was delicious, and I appreciated how everything was handled with such thoughtfulness. Tack så mycket, Lâm!
