I wasn’t expecting this tour to be so peaceful and moving. We were picked up from our hotel by Chris, who was warm, attentive, and full of local insights. From the very first stop at Sadec flower village, we felt we were in the hands of someone who genuinely cared about the experience.
The flower fields were stunning—rows of vibrant blossoms and a calmness that felt so different from the busy city life. Then we headed to Xeo Quyt, which turned out to be the highlight. The boat ride was slow and quiet, letting us take in the forest sounds and shadows while Chris explained the wartime significance of the area.
The visit to the Huynh Thuy Le house and the pagoda gave a deep cultural dimension to the tour, and lunch was both plentiful and fresh. Overall, it was a lovely, soulful day out. Highly recommend for those wanting something different and meaningful.
What a beautifully balanced day. Danh picked us up right on time and was a wonderful guide throughout. Calm, insightful, and attentive, he let the places speak for themselves while adding just the right amount of context.
The flower village was like a dream—rows of plants and flowers in vibrant colors, tended lovingly by locals.
Then came Xeo Quyt forest, which left a deep impression on me. The quiet glide on the sampan through the water and jungle, seeing the remnants of bunkers hidden among roots and vines… it was haunting, in a good way.
Later, visiting the Huynh Thuy Le house made me want to re-read The Lover. The old house, the story, and the atmosphere felt very real.
A gentle, reflective, and memorable journey. Thanks Danh!
