Our guide Lam picked us up right on time from our hotel in Can Tho City. From the start, Lam’s enthusiasm and knowledge made this day unforgettable. Visiting Sadec flower village felt like stepping into a colorful fairy tale—the vibrant flowers and their delicate aromas were truly enchanting. The highlight was definitely the hand-rowing sampan ride through the mystical Xeo Quyt forest, surrounded by thick trees and hidden Viet Cong bunkers—a powerful reminder of history nestled within nature. The ancient Huynh Thuy Le house and the serene Kien An Cung pagoda gave a romantic and cultural touch to the day. The authentic Vietnamese lunch was delicious and perfect after our adventure. Lam’s warmth and storytelling brought the whole experience to life.
Starting from Can Tho, our driver and guide greeted us warmly and made the journey smooth and comfortable. The Sadec flower village was a true highlight — walking through fields of colorful dahlias, orchids, and roses felt like stepping into a vibrant painting. The guide’s insights about the flowers and local horticulture deepened the experience.
The boat ride through the serene Xeo Quyt forest was magical. Gliding under the dense canopy on a hand-rowing sampan, we saw the peaceful natural beauty and historic Viet Cong bunkers nestled in the wilderness. It was a moving reminder of Vietnam’s resilient history.
The visit to Huynh Thuy Le Ancient house and Kien An Cung pagoda brought a lovely cultural and literary touch, especially meaningful for fans of “The Lover.” The included Vietnamese lunch was delicious and authentic, rounding out the day perfectly.
Returning to Can Tho by late afternoon, we felt refreshed and enriched. A truly memorable and well-organized tour!
