The village also boasts several varieties of roses in different colours of red, violet, pink, white and orange.

Xeo Quyt forest and hand-rowing sampanThe next stop is the magnificent 52-hectare Xeo Quyt forest. One vast swamp beneath a beautiful thick canopy of tall trees and vines, it hides the remains of Viet Cong bunkers, which can be seen by rowing sampan inside the forest.

This one-day tour felt like a complete story. David picked us up from Can Tho and set the tone with interesting history from the start. The flower village was stunning, great for photos and even better for just soaking in. Xeo Quyt felt sacred somehow—just being there in the quiet was powerful. The ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le added a sweet romantic ending. Lunch was delicious, authentic, and very peaceful. I loved this tour and its emotional richness.
We were picked up in Can Tho by Duy and his lovely driver, and everything from there was smooth and enriching. Sadec Flower Village was absolutely blooming—it felt like walking through someone’s dream. Then Xeo Quyt, with its swampy silence and war history, made me pause and reflect. The sampan journey was peaceful and atmospheric. The Lover’s house was the perfect end to a day filled with soft, beautiful contrasts. Thank you for a meaningful day.
