Our guide Thomas made this tour truly special from start to finish. Picking us up promptly in Can Tho, he was friendly and engaging throughout the day. The Sadec flower village was a burst of color and fragrance that felt like stepping into a dream. Thomas’s explanations of the different flowers and their cultural importance added depth to the visit. The rowing sampan ride in Xeo Quyt forest was a peaceful escape, gliding quietly under the thick canopy, surrounded by nature and history with Viet Cong bunkers quietly hidden in the shadows. The visit to the romantic Huynh Thuy Le Ancient house and Kien An Cung pagoda was fascinating, and Thomas’s knowledge about the famous novel “The Lover” made it even more meaningful. The included Vietnamese lunch was delicious and a perfect end to this beautiful day. Thanks to Thomas’s care and passion, I highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking authentic experiences.
Our day started perfectly with guide Minh greeting us warmly at our hotel in Can Tho City. From the moment we stepped into the Sadec flower village, I was utterly enchanted. Walking through endless rows of vibrant dahlias, orchids, and roses felt like being inside a living painting. Minh’s deep knowledge of the plants and their stories made the visit so much richer, and his friendly, caring attitude made us feel truly welcome. The serene rowing sampan trip through the Xeo Quyt forest was breathtaking — the peaceful water, towering trees, and the hidden Viet Cong bunkers gave a profound sense of history and nature’s resilience. Visiting the Huynh Thuy Le Ancient house and Kien An Cung pagoda was a beautiful cultural touch, and Minh’s storytelling about “The Lover” brought the experience alive. Ending with a delicious authentic Vietnamese lunch was the perfect way to complete this unforgettable day. I left feeling connected to the land, its history, and the kindness of our guide Minh.
