This full-day Mekong tour from Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh Long was a perfect blend of culture, nature, and local life. Our guide Hannah greeted us warmly at the hotel in Vinh Long and led us to the boat, where our adventure began. Visiting the pottery kilns was fascinating — seeing handmade pottery crafted with such skill for export worldwide really impressed me.
Cruising down the Thay Cai canal, the historic brick kiln kingdom felt like stepping back in time, and the village trek gave a close-up look at the locals’ way of life and traditional brick-making techniques. Hannah’s stories and explanations enriched the entire experience.
Lunch on board was relaxing with beautiful river views. The rowing sampan ride through narrow canals was a peaceful highlight — perfect for photos and soaking in the tranquil surroundings. The stop at An Binh islet to visit local workshops for coconut candy, pop rice, and even snake wine tasting was truly authentic and delicious.
Returning to Vinh Long and then back to HCMC after a full day, this tour felt like a genuine journey through the heart of the Mekong Delta. Hannah’s friendly and informative guiding made the day flow smoothly. Highly recommended!

The visit to the pottery kilns was fascinating, watching the craftsmanship and hearing about how these beautiful pieces reach markets worldwide. Cruising past the brick kiln Kingdom was like witnessing a hidden treasure; Hannah’s insights really brought this unique tradition to life.
The village trekking was a wonderful way to connect with the local people and culture. Hannah patiently answered all our questions and made sure everyone was comfortable. The sampan ride on the smaller canals was magical, drifting silently through the lush waterways. The stops to taste local coconut candy and other specialties were delightful and authentic. Lunch on the boat was delicious and relaxing.
Thanks to Hannah, this tour was not only educational but also deeply personal and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Mekong Delta!
