From the very start, this tour blew me away. Our guide Tai met us right on time at the Cuu Long B hotel in Vinh Long and immediately made us feel at home. Tai’s passion for the culture and history of the Mekong Delta was inspiring. Visiting the pottery kilns and watching the skilled artisans crafting beautiful handmade pottery for global export was mesmerizing. Cruising along the Thay Cai canal, the sight of the brick kiln Kingdom was stunning — it felt like stepping back in time, and Tai’s storytelling added layers of meaning to the experience.
The village trekking was a peaceful yet eye-opening walk. Tai introduced us to locals who warmly shared their way of life, making it feel like a genuine cultural exchange rather than just sightseeing. The sampan ride through the small canals was a serene escape, perfect for soaking in the natural beauty of the Mekong. Sampling local treats like coconut candy and pop rice on An Binh islet was a delicious bonus. Lunch on board was relaxing and perfectly timed.
Tai’s warm personality and expert guidance made this day tour truly unforgettable. I can’t recommend this enough for anyone wanting a deep, authentic Mekong experience!
This Vinh Long boat tour was a perfect blend of culture, history, and nature. Our guide Hannah met us in Vinh Long and guided us through every stop with great enthusiasm and knowledge. The pottery and brick kilns showed us the artistry and traditions that have survived for centuries. The trekking through the village felt authentic and peaceful. Lunch on board while cruising was delightful and relaxing. The sampan ride and the visit to the local workshop on An Binh islet introduced us to unique local products like coconut candy and rice wine — so tasty! Hannah’s warm and friendly approach really enhanced our day. Highly recommended!
