Meeting point & pickup with the tour guide in Vinh LongThe meeting point is at the lobby of Cuu Long B hotel in Vinh Long. Our tour guide will welcome and pick you up from there and walk to the boat station for the Vinh Long boat excursion.

Brick kiln Kingdom in Vinh LongYour boat keeps cruising for the mighty Mekong River discovery. About 10:15 AM, the brick kiln Kingdom will appear amazingly along the Thay Cai canal in Mang Thit. This tradition and its heritage kilns last hundred years through the wars and termites. You just feel like you are cruising back in time to recognize the value of mud brick and tiles.

Hannah nous a accueillis avec un grand sourire dès le hall de l’hôtel Cuu Long B. Elle a su créer une atmosphère conviviale et détendue pendant toute la journée. La visite des fours à brique et à poterie était unique, et le décor tout autour du canal de Thay Cai semblait figé dans le temps.
Le petit trekking dans le village était un vrai plus — on sentait la sincérité de cette immersion. Déjeuner simple mais délicieux à bord du bateau, puis la balade en sampan a été un moment de paix absolue. Ce tour a quelque chose de vrai, de lent, qui fait du bien. Je recommande.
I’m always drawn to places that preserve traditional crafts, and this tour hit the spot. David was clearly passionate about Vinh Long and explained everything from the architecture of the kilns to the economics behind the brick exports.
I never thought I’d be so fascinated by bricks, but these kilns are like massive ovens of history! We took time to explore them and meet locals still working in the trade. The village walk was slow and personal, and the boat was very comfortable. Lunch was served hot right on board — such a nice touch. Don’t skip the sampan ride — that peaceful glide through palm-shaded canals was worth the trip alone.
