An Enchanting Day Exploring Vinh Long’s Timeless Traditions

This day tour was nothing short of magical! From the very first moment our guide Hieu met us at the Cuu Long B hotel, we felt welcomed and well cared for. Hieu’s passion for the Mekong Delta’s culture was infectious and he shared fascinating stories about the pottery kilns, explaining the intricate handmade process that exports globally. Cruising along the Thay Cai canal and witnessing the historic brick kiln Kingdom was like stepping into a living museum — Hieu’s knowledge made the experience so vivid and meaningful.

The village trek was one of the highlights for me. Walking through the village, meeting locals, and seeing their traditional lifestyles up close was truly eye-opening. Hieu was patient, friendly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable. The rowing sampan ride was a dream, gliding through the peaceful canals surrounded by lush greenery. The visit to the local workshop on An Binh islet, tasting fresh coconut candy and other treats, brought smiles and joy. Lunch on the boat was relaxing, with the scenic Mekong views adding to the perfect day.

Thank you, Hieu, for a truly memorable journey that connected me deeply to the heart of the Mekong Delta. I’ll treasure these moments forever!

A Mekong Memory Etched in Clay and River Light

This tour is a poetic mix of history, craft, and quiet beauty. The logistics were seamless—picked up at 7:30 in Can Tho, we were boating on the Mekong less than an hour later. Thomas was our guide, and he struck the perfect balance between informative and relaxed. The kiln areas felt like open-air museums, still in use. The village trekking was a great way to stretch the legs and interact with locals. The sampan ride was unforgettable. If you want to feel the heart of the Mekong, this is it.
