Pick-upAt 8:00 AM, our car and tour guide will welcome and pick you up at the hotel in Can Tho city.

Tra Su Melaleuca ForestArrive at Tra Su Melaleuca Forest. You will have a motor boat in the forest, go and spot as many birds as you can with your now trained eyes and the directions of the guide. Pay attention to the sounds of the forest to grasp a better idea of this mesmerizing place, declared one of one of the area’s most peaceful spots in Southern Vietnam. After getting to the 25-meter observation tower to enjoy the fascinating view over the mountain in the area, the expanses of cajeput forest and the white dots of flying storks. Your tour will slow down by taking the hand-rowing sampan for a close-up birdwatching and enjoy the most beautiful flooded forest in Vietnam as well as SE-Asia. Take an amazing bamboo walking bridge in the forest in Vietnam which gives you much time to feel the beauty of nature.

Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
Minh was the perfect companion for a journey that blended nature, culture, and emotion. We started in the thick beauty of Tra Su—rivers hidden under trees, birds flickering through sunlight, everything still and alive.
The sampan ride felt like a secret ritual. The silence, broken only by birds and oars in water, connected me deeply with the place. Minh explained how the locals manage and protect the forest, and I could feel the pride in his voice.
Lunch was tasty and relaxed—a moment to talk and laugh with other guests and Minh. The rice fields made me stop and stare. I’ve seen rice fields before, but here they felt boundless.
The Khmer pagoda was radiant in its quiet dignity. Minh translated the inscriptions and explained the architecture. This wasn’t just a tour; it was a doorway into Vietnam’s soul.
This was one of the most peaceful days I have had while traveling. Hieu is a guide of quiet wisdom. He doesn’t overwhelm you with facts, but rather invites you to feel, to see, and to breathe in each place we visit.
The boat into the forest felt like a dream—a path of still water, shaded by green, alive with bird calls. We moved deeper with the hand-rowed sampan, and everything slowed down. Hieu gently pointed out kingfishers and cormorants, and taught us how the forest protects the land.
Lunch in the forest was another moment of joy—simple, warm, and cooked with care. I loved the rice fields we passed on the way—so vibrant and vast. The sugar palm juice was a pleasant surprise—light and slightly sweet, it suited the day’s energy perfectly.
The Khmer pagoda was so elegant in its age and meaning. I lingered there, thinking of the many lives and prayers that have passed through. This tour is a gift of peace.
