    Green Symphony and Golden Stillness

I booked this tour hoping for something scenic, but it turned out to be a soulful journey. Thomas was amazing — warm, funny, and full of fascinating insights. Tra Su forest was so green it almost didn’t feel real. The sampan ride was my favorite — gliding slowly between tall melaleuca trees, with birds darting above and dragonflies skimming the water. Magical.

Lunch in the forest was like dining in a hidden world. Then we passed by rice fields that stretched for miles. Thomas stopped at one and taught us how to recognize young vs. mature rice. The simplicity of it made me appreciate the rhythm of life here.

The sugar palm field added a lovely taste of the countryside — the juice was light and pure. But the Khmer pagoda… that was soul-stirring. Gold roofs, silent prayer, and centuries of devotion built into every wall. I felt like I was part of something much larger than myself. Thank you, Thomas, for a day of quiet wonder.

Still Waters and Sacred Walls – Vietnam’s Gentle Soul

From the moment Lâm picked us up, I knew this tour would be special. His calm presence set the tone for a day of gentle beauty. Tra Su forest was a world I didn’t expect — lush, wild, yet serene. The motorboat was exciting, but the rowing sampan was something else entirely. I closed my eyes for a moment during that ride and felt the whole forest breathe around me.

The forest lunch was absolutely delicious — I still dream about that fish cooked in lotus leaves! On the way back, we stopped by endless rice fields — bright green and golden waves under the blue sky. Lâm explained the rice-growing process with such clarity and passion.

We also tried sugar palm juice in a quiet corner near the Cambodian border — refreshing and sweet, just like the day itself. But what stayed with me most was the ancient Khmer pagoda. We arrived when monks were chanting softly. I felt so moved, as if I had stepped out of time. A tour I’ll remember forever.
