Cham minority villageThe sampan tour keeps going to the Chau Doc’s secrets – Cham minority village. Step into the Cham ethnic village and fully understand their cultural values that have been hidden through periods of social development. You may visit the Jamiul Azhar Mosque there as well. Today, the Cham are Muslims and mainly earn their living by weaving and textile trade. You can see one of these looms in the very local factory.

Tra Su foresr & activitiesArrive at Tra Su forest (planted from the 80s). The tour guide then helps you with boat ticket and get on board. After sitting on a motor boat around 20 minutes to contemplate the natural sights, you will take to the rowing sampan (about half hour) to watch birds (seasonal) and enjoy the most beautiful flooded forest in Vietnam as well as SE-Asia. Afterwards, get back to the motorboat and reach inner the forest. Take 500-meter walking to get to the 25-meter observation post to enjoy the fascinating view over the mountain in the area, the expanses of cajeput forest and the white dots of flying storks. Take an amazing longest bamboo walking bridge in the forest in Vietnam which give you much time to feel the beauty of the nature.

Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
Very well organized trip! we are so happy we chose THiS tour agency. Our guide was very open and very good English speaking and had huge knowledge about the region we visited. Trip to Tra Su forest was very comfortable (AC car) the guide and driver were not in rush- Gave us plenty of time for watching and visiting. During the trip we also had another boat trip to the fish farm and see house on stilts and Cham Village… Thomas thanks for great trip!
Did the Tra Su Forest and Chau Doc river tour with the floating village and small canals. All well organized, but the guides were particularly excellent and informative–really enjoyed the tours with them. They also arranged excellent car travel from and to HCMC.
