    Floating between flowers and memories

Our guide Hannah was gentle, warm, and very engaging. She made every stop along the way feel meaningful. I didn’t expect such a rich mix of nature, history, and culture in just half a day.

The flower village was more than Instagrammable – it was like stepping into a secret garden. The locals were tending plants with such care. Xeo Quyt forest, in contrast, was moody and mysterious. Floating through it slowly in a sampan was surreal, especially when Hannah pointed out the old wartime shelters among the roots and trees.

The ancient house was the perfect closing – romantic and atmospheric. The story behind “The Lover” felt so real being right there in the house.

    Peaceful and personal

I joined the afternoon tour and was pleasantly surprised by how much we could experience in just a few hours. Danh was our guide — he was knowledgeable, warm, and made the tour feel very personal.

The flower village was a vibrant start — rows and rows of blossoms stretching endlessly. At Xeo Quyt, we glided quietly under the green canopy, and Danh shared stories about the war era that gave me a lot to reflect on.

Ending at the ancient house and pagoda was perfect. It tied the day together — nature, history, and romance. Would definitely recommend this if you’re passing through Sa Dec.
