Sadec flower villageVisit Sadec flower village where tourists seem to be lost in a fairyland, full of colours and aromas of diverse flowers and plants, namely dahlia, hydrangeas, orchids, areca, wrightia religiosa, hibiskus rosa-sinensis and African marigold. The village also boasts several varieties of roses in different colours of red, violet, pink, white and orange.

Xeo Quyt forest and Hand-rowing sampanThe next stop is the magnificent 52-hectare Xeo Quyt forest. One vast swamp beneath a beautiful thick canopy of tall trees and vines, it hides the remains of Viet Cong bunkers, which can be seen by rowing sampan inside the forest.

Ich hatte nur einen halben Tag in Sa Dec und dieser Ausflug war perfekt. Minh war super freundlich und sehr gut vorbereitet. Alles lief reibungslos und im angenehmen Tempo.
Der Blumenmarkt war atemberaubend. So viele Farben und Düfte – man kommt aus dem Staunen nicht heraus. Danach ging es in den Xeo Quyt-Wald: ein stiller Ort mit viel Geschichte. Die Sampanfahrt durch den Wald war ein echtes Highlight.
Am Ende besuchten wir die alte Huynh Thuy Le-Villa – Minh erzählte uns die romantische und tragische Geschichte. Eine kurze, aber unvergessliche Tour!
Sa Dec è un piccolo gioiello, e questa escursione l’ha mostrato in tutto il suo splendore. Hannah è stata meravigliosa: parla con passione, sorride sempre e conosce bene la storia del posto.
Il villaggio dei fiori sembrava un dipinto vivente. C’erano rose di ogni colore, orchidee, margherite giganti… un sogno. Xeo Quyt era il contrario: ombroso, silenzioso, quasi mistico. Pagaiando tra gli alberi abbiamo visto i rifugi nascosti dei soldati.
Infine, la casa di Huynh Thuy Le: raffinata, romantica, piena di fascino. Hannah ci ha raccontato di “L’Amante” e ho sentito i brividi. Una mattina intensa e bellissima.
