Our guide Lam picked us up right on time and made the whole experience personal and engaging. The Sa Dec flower village is truly enchanting — it felt like wandering through a magical garden full of vibrant colors and delightful fragrances. Lam shared fascinating facts about each flower and the village’s rich horticultural tradition.
The hand-rowing sampan through Xeo Quyt forest was peaceful and breathtaking. The thick canopy and hidden Viet Cong bunkers added a mysterious historical layer to the natural beauty. It was a moving experience that brought history alive in a gentle way.
Visiting the Huynh Thuy Le Ancient house and Kien An Cung pagoda completed the day with a romantic and cultural touch, especially for fans of the novel “The Lover.”
The timing was perfect, ending the tour relaxed and full of new insights in Sa Dec City. Lam’s care and knowledge made this one an unforgettable tour.
I can’t recommend this tour enough! Our guide Hannah was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, answering every question with enthusiasm. The Sadec flower village was breathtaking — such a colorful palette of flowers and plants, and Hannah explained the significance of each with genuine interest. The highlight for me was the peaceful sampan ride through the Xeo Quyt forest. The silence under the dense canopy and the history hidden in the Viet Cong bunkers gave the trip a deeply reflective mood. Ending the day at the romantic Huynh Thuy Le Ancient house and the Kien An Cung pagoda was a perfect touch. Hannah’s vivid descriptions of Marguerite Duras’s novel made the story come alive. The whole tour was perfectly paced, informative, and emotionally rich — thanks to Hannah’s wonderful guiding skills. A must-do for anyone visiting the Mekong Delta!
