Sadec flower villageVisit Sadec flower village where tourists seem to be lost in a fairyland, full of colours and aromas of diverse flowers and plants, namely dahlia, hydrangeas, orchids, areca, wrightia religiosa, hibiskus rosa-sinensis and African marigold. The village also boasts several varieties of roses in different colours of red, violet, pink, white and orange.

Xeo Quyt forest and Hand-rowing sampanThe next stop is the magnificent 52-hectare Xeo Quyt forest. One vast swamp beneath a beautiful thick canopy of tall trees and vines, it hides the remains of Viet Cong bunkers, which can be seen by rowing sampan inside the forest.

From the very start, our guide Duy made this tour truly exceptional. Picking us up right on time in Sa Dec City, Duy’s warm welcome set the tone for an unforgettable day. Walking through the Sadec flower village felt like wandering in a vibrant dream — the colors and fragrances of dahlias, orchids, and countless flowers filled the air. Duy’s storytelling brought the village’s rich horticultural traditions alive, making it so much more than just a visual treat. Then, gliding silently on the hand-rowing sampan through the mysterious Xeo Quyt forest was like stepping back in time — the quiet canopy hiding Viet Cong bunkers was powerful and moving. Visiting the Huynh Thuy Le Ancient house and Kien An Cung pagoda rounded out the experience perfectly, with Duy sharing charming insights about the famous novel “The Lover.” This tour was a beautiful blend of nature, history, and culture, and Duy’s passion truly made it come alive.
This tour is short but unforgettable. Thomas met us right on time and kept the mood relaxed but informative. The flower village was unreal—like someone painted the whole town with blossoms. The Xeo Quyt forest was mesmerizing, especially knowing what happened there. You could feel the weight of history while floating quietly under that green canopy. And the ancient house had such romantic charm. A wonderful contrast of colors, silence, and emotion all packed into one perfect morning.
