Phu Ly Khmer pagodaThe boat will cruise on the Mekong River and then keep going deep into the countryside and canals for reaching the Phu Ly pagoda. Walking around the pagoda, you will feel the peace, airy but no less ancient thanks to the appearance of ancient trees and palm trees. Khmer Phu Ly Pagoda (built in 1672) is an ancient temple in Vinh Long with beautiful & peaceful landscape. This building is the interference between Indian, Thai and Cambodian architecture, creating a unique feature that few temples have.

This traditional job (1912) was recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage in August 2022. You have a chance to see the locals and learn how the tofu skin - food product is made from soybeans. When people ask me what to see in Mekong today. I tell them view our MekongDelta365.

Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
I can’t even begin to describe how incredible this tour was. From the peaceful boat ride to the stunning Phu Ly Pagoda, Duy made sure we saw everything with fresh eyes. The pagoda was quiet, mysterious, and full of history. Duy’s storytelling made it come alive. We then visited the tofu skin village, and I was amazed at the craftsmanship and effort that goes into making it. I never thought something so simple could be so interesting! The nursery village was a beautiful and calming stop. I felt like I was experiencing Vietnam in a way that was very authentic and off the beaten path.
Danh made this tour so much more than just a sightseeing trip. From the moment we got on the boat, I could tell it was going to be a special day. The Phu Ly Pagoda had an incredible atmosphere — calm, beautiful, and full of history. Danh really knew his stuff, and I was hanging on every word he said about the temple’s unique blend of architectural styles. The tofu skin village was a hidden treasure — I had never seen tofu made like that before! Watching the locals work was mesmerizing. The riverside plant nursery village was such a peaceful end to the day, and I couldn’t help but feel grateful for everything we had seen.
