We had an amazing experience on the My Tho half-day tour with our guide Danh. Everything felt smooth and well-paced, and we especially appreciated how the route focused on more local and less touristy areas like Tan Thach village. Danh shared so much about local coconut farming and traditional candy-making — it was fascinating and great for all ages. Riding the horse cart through the village and sipping honey tea while listening to traditional music was something I’ll never forget. The hand-rowed sampan trip through the quiet canal was peaceful and a perfect way to end the tour. Great introduction to the Mekong Delta if you’re short on time!
From the boat ride to the sampan journey, this tour was full of heart. Danh shared stories of the Mekong region that gave every stop a deeper meaning. Watching how coconut candy is made by hand, tasting it fresh, then sitting with locals while enjoying honey tea and live music — it felt like I was being invited into someone’s home. The final glide through the coconut-shaded canal was the definition of serenity. If you want something real and soulful, this is it.
