From the moment we entered the countryside, it felt like we were entering another world. The visit to Vinh Trang Pagoda gave us a glimpse into Vietnam’s rich spiritual life. When we met Thomas at the boat station, the journey took on a new energy — one of storytelling and immersion. I really enjoyed learning how coconut candy is made, and the whole community vibe in the village was beautiful. The canal ride was calming and meditative. I came back to Ho Chi Minh feeling like I had seen the real Vietnam
Danh was incredibly insightful — full of knowledge and warmth. The day started with a quiet stop at the stunning Vinh Trang Pagoda and evolved into a rich experience along the Mekong. Floating houses, local life, and coconut delights. I especially loved the gentle pace of the village, the horse cart ride, and the sweet sound of the traditional music. The canal journey by sampan was like stepping into a painting. The whole day was thoughtfully organized and deeply moving
