    Magical moments on the Mekong

This tour was exactly what I had hoped for. Duy, our guide, made everything run smoothly while providing fun facts and thoughtful cultural context.
The early start from Ho Chi Minh City was worth it—Vinh Trang pagoda was calm and glistening in the morning light. From there, we boarded the boat and drifted past quiet islands and floating fish farms.
Tan Thach was a brilliant choice—so much better than the overly touristic spots I’d read about. The coconut workshop was interactive and fun, and we tasted warm candy straight from the mold!
The ride in a horse cart gave us a glimpse into rural life, and the music performance felt intimate and genuine.
Rowing through the canal was like being in a dream—green coconut palms arching overhead and gentle ripples beside the boat.
Lunch? Divine. The elephant ear fish was crisp and aromatic, served with fresh herbs and rice paper.
We reached Can Tho by 5 PM, full of impressions and with a phone full of beautiful photos.
