I travel often for short getaways, and this was one of the most rewarding day trips I’ve had. Our guide Thomas was smart, respectful, and always a step ahead in organizing things.
We began at Vinh Trang pagoda—serene and beautifully detailed. Thomas gave just the right amount of context to help us appreciate it.
The boat ride on the Mekong was lovely—passing islets and floating homes felt surreal. The stops at Tan Thach village and the coconut candy workshop were informative and well-paced. I especially liked seeing how resourceful people are with every part of the coconut.
The traditional music and honey tea experience felt authentic, not staged. The horse cart was a fun and brief countryside ride.
Rowing along the canal was perhaps my favorite moment—quiet, lush, and almost cinematic.
Lunch was delicious, especially the elephant ear fish! Afterward, we had a smooth ride to Can Tho and arrived relaxed and satisfied.
Would recommend this tour to anyone who wants both culture and nature in one full, enriching day.
I’ve been traveling solo in Vietnam and this tour was one of the most meaningful days for me. Lâm, our guide, created a very comfortable atmosphere for everyone and kept everything real—no cheesy tourist gimmicks.
He started by sharing a bit of history at Vinh Trang, then let us enjoy the peaceful boat ride on the river. The floating homes and the quiet rhythm of river life made me reflect on how differently people live.
Tan Thach was refreshing—no big crowds, just real people doing what they’ve done for decades. I loved how Lâm explained the significance of every step in the candy process, and the stop for honey tea and fruit was pure joy.
The canal ride in the hand-rowed sampan was the highlight: calm, green, almost spiritual.
The lunch stop was humble and full of flavor, especially the elephant ear fish and the local herbs.
Arrived in Can Tho just before sunset, and felt deeply connected to the land and people. Gracias, Lâm.
