Itinerary
  • Pick-up
    At 7:00 AM, our car and tour guide will welcome and pick up you at the hotel in Chau Doc city.
  • Tra Su forest & activities
    Arrive at Tra Su forest (planted from the 80s). The tour guide then helps you with boat tickets and get on board. After sitting on a motor boat for around 20 minutes to contemplate the natural sights, you will take to the rowing sampan (about half hour) to watch birds (seasonal) and enjoy the most beautiful flooded forest in Vietnam as well as SE-Asia. Afterwards, get back to the motorboat and reach inner the forest. Take 500-meter walking to get to the 25-meter observation post to enjoy the fascinating view over the mountain in the area, the expanses of cajeput forest and the white dots of flying storks. Take an amazing bamboo walking bridge in the forest in Vietnam which gives you much time to feel the beauty of nature.
  • Things on the way
    On the way, your tour guide will share a lot of information about the nature & wildlife, sugar palm, rice fields and fish farm…and also learn about the importance of Khmer Buddhism in the local community at the border of Vietnam and Cambodia.
  • From Tra Su forest - Transfer to Ha Tien with car and driver (no tour guide escort)
    Around 10:00 AM, transfer to the Ha Tien ferry station or the hotel in Ha Tien.
  • Arrive Ha Tien
    Arrive in Ha Tien around 12:00 NOON.
  • P/s 1: You can buy the ferry tickets to get to Phu Quoc with the departure from Ha Tien at 1:30 (on the website: superdong,com,vn) or 1:45pm (phuquocexpressboat,com)

    Surprisingly rich for a half-day trip

    I was expecting just a quick nature visit, but Minh turned this tour into something much more meaningful. His explanations about the Khmer influence, the sugar palms, and wildlife made the journey come alive.
    The flooded forest was unlike anything I’d seen before — lush, green, echoing with sounds. The rowing boat was a highlight, and the lookout tower gave me one of the best photos of my trip.
    Smooth car ride to Ha Tien afterward, arriving just in time for lunch. Superb experience overall.

    Pas juste un tour, une parenthèse enchantée

    Hannah est une guide exceptionnelle — douce, précise, à l’écoute. Le tour de Tra Su était comme une parenthèse hors du temps : les arbres, l’eau, les oiseaux qui volaient au loin… une vraie carte postale vivante.
    Le petit bateau à rame était silencieux, magique. J’ai aussi adoré le pont en bambou, un peu glissant mais tellement authentique.
    Le transfert vers Ha Tien était parfaitement géré, ponctuel, relax. Merci encore pour cette matinée inoubliable.
