Can Tho Rice Noodle Factory & Villages
Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
We booked this tour as a nature-focused experience in Chau Doc with the convenience of onward transfer to Ha Tien—and it was perfect. Our guide, Minh, was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating details about the flooded forest ecosystem and Khmer culture as we made our way to Tra Su.
The forest itself was absolutely stunning. The boat ride through the canals was peaceful and surreal, with birds calling overhead and sunlight filtering through the trees. The rowing sampan ride allowed us to slow down and really take in the beauty of this unique wetland. Climbing the observation tower gave us a panoramic view I’ll never forget—lush green as far as the eye could see.
The bamboo walking bridge deep inside the forest was a delightful surprise. It gave us a chance to immerse ourselves in the environment and really appreciate the quiet magic of Tra Su. Minh was clearly passionate about the region and helped us understand not only the flora and fauna but also the cultural significance of the area near the Cambodian border.
After the forest, the private transfer to Ha Tien was smooth and comfortable. Although the guide didn’t accompany us for the ride, everything was well coordinated and we reached the ferry on time.
A calm, insightful morning surrounded by nature, and a stress-free connection to Ha Tien—great combination!
This experience was the perfect combination of nature and travel convenience. Chris was a great guide—kind, clear, and full of interesting facts about the cajeput forest and the importance of this protected area near the Cambodian border.
The early morning visit to Tra Su Forest was serene and not crowded at all. The rowing sampan ride through the duckweed-covered canals was incredibly calming. We saw birds fluttering between the trees and had moments of complete stillness surrounded by nothing but green.
The bamboo bridge walk and the view from the tall observation post gave us a whole new appreciation of the forest’s vastness. On the ride out, Chris also pointed out sugar palms and explained the role of Khmer Buddhism in the region, which added so much context.
After saying goodbye at Tra Su, the transfer to Ha Tien was smooth and on schedule. A stress-free way to see a natural wonder before continuing our journey to the coast!
