Hannah was such a warm and knowledgeable guide. I loved learning how the Mekong shapes life here – the sugar palms, the fish farms, and even the spiritual life of the Khmer people. The sampan ride was peaceful and full of bird sounds. That bamboo bridge felt endless, but the views were worth it! I would’ve never found this place on my own. Ending with a calm transfer to Can Tho was perfect.
I thought it was going to be “just another nature walk,” but Thomas turned it into something more. From explaining how Khmer Buddhism shapes the border culture to pointing out birds I’ve never seen before – it was immersive and memorable. The flooded forest was stunning, especially from the rowing sampan. The bamboo walkway gave me forest temple vibes. Lunch was nice and light. The ride to Can Tho was relaxing after such a magical morning.
