Tra Su – A Masterpiece of Nature and Tranquility

I joined this tour with low expectations and left deeply moved. Minh was a phenomenal guide, explaining everything with calm and clarity. We saw sugar palms and fish farms en route, and he gave us insight into how this part of the Mekong functions. At Tra Su, the transition from motorboat to sampan felt symbolic — from fast to slow, from tourist to wanderer. I loved the bamboo bridge and the climb to the tower, where Minh pointed out every landmark visible in the panorama. The forest was more than beautiful — it was soulful.

An Untouched Eden in the Mekong Delta

I didn’t know such a place existed in Vietnam. Danh picked us up early and shared stories about the environment and Khmer culture along the way. When we entered Tra Su forest, I couldn’t believe the quiet beauty of the scene. The motorboat gave us a good intro, but the hand-rowed sampan was beyond words. We floated slowly, with birds flying past and the water shimmering green. Danh pointed out different species and told us about how the forest is protected. From the top of the observation tower, it looked like something out of a painting. The bamboo bridge was fun — a bit wobbly, but charming! Lunch was delicious, and then we were off to Can Tho, but I left a piece of my heart in Tra Su.
