The Tra Su Forest tour with Duy was a highlight of my trip. Duy’s knowledge about the forest’s ecosystem, the importance of Khmer Buddhism in the border region, and the local agricultural life made the journey fascinating.
The motorboat and rowing sampan rides gave us a peaceful way to see the flooded forest and watch seasonal birds. The observation post gave a stunning view of the vast cajeput forest and the mountains beyond. The longest bamboo walking bridge in Vietnam was a serene place to connect with nature.
The included local set lunch was delicious and authentic, providing a nice break before heading to Can Tho city. The transfer afterward was well organized.
This tour offers a perfect balance of adventure, culture, and relaxation. Highly recommended with Duy as your guide!
Our day with Lam exploring Tra Su Forest was unforgettable. He was a wonderful guide—knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing the local wildlife and cultural stories. The motorboat ride to the heart of the forest set a peaceful tone, and the rowing sampan through the flooded forest was absolutely magical. We saw a variety of birds, and the green waterways surrounded by towering cajeput trees felt like stepping into another world.
The 500-meter walk to the observation post was worth every step. From there, the panoramic views over the forest and mountains took my breath away. Walking across the bamboo bridge was such a unique experience—calm, quiet, and photogenic.
Lunch was a delightful surprise. The local set menu served inside the forest was fresh and flavorful, giving us a true taste of the Mekong Delta. After lunch, the transfer to Can Tho was smooth and comfortable.
If you want a blend of nature, culture, and local cuisine, this tour with Lam is an absolute must.
