The most famous floating fishing villages in Mekong river deltaExplore one of the most famous floating fishing villages in Mekong river delta with hundreds of floating houses on the Bassac river. You will enter one of the floating houses through a porch. The locals will welcome you with the hospitality. They will open a flap in the ground and throw fish food from the bag standing next to it into the water under the house. Immediately a chaotic hustle and bustle start when the fish jump after the food. All the houses have nets underneath to breed fish, most of it Pangasius and Tilapia.

Step into the Cham ethnic village and fully understand their cultural values that have been hidden through periods of social development. You may visit the Jamiul Azhar Mosque there as well. We did the floating village and small canals tour with Sora and we really enjoyed it! He was very knowledgeable and friendly and his English was really great. Everything he told us was interesting, the sampan tour was great and it is definitely a recommendation from us!
Brilliant sampan tour – very nice & knowledge guide and boat man. Great opportunity to see local life & the floating village on the Mekong and Vinh Te smaller canals. Very professional and guide had excellent English. Lovely walk around Cham village and the street market.
