Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
As someone who appreciates stories and context, I was surprised how much Mekong’s soil speaks.
David told us about how the fields connect to border history, migration, even war.
But he didn’t lecture — he wove things into the landscape.
Cycling next to a muddy canal somehow felt more profound than reading ten books.
This tour changed how I see rural places. There’s history under every foot of rice.
