Hannah was exceptional — patient, informative, and full of joy. She made the forest walk feel like an adventure and a meditation at the same time. The canals were mesmerizing — so quiet and full of birds. Standing atop the observation tower, I could hardly believe how vast and serene everything was. The trek was easy and refreshing, and the ficus tree… wow. Hannah told us about its role in wartime like she was telling a story passed down for generations. I came home with muddy shoes and a full heart.
David’s love for the region was clear in every sentence. The Lung Ngoc Hoang wetland was like stepping into another world — a lush sanctuary untouched by modern chaos. The boat ride was poetic, especially the part where water and trees seemed to merge into a living painting. The tower view was stunning, and I took so many pictures, but none captured the actual feeling of being surrounded by that much green. Visiting the giant ficus tree with David’s historical insights made me feel connected to the past in a very personal way.
