Hieu was incredibly knowledgeable and warm-hearted. From the start, I could tell this tour wasn’t just about scenery — it was about stories and silence, the kind that speaks to the soul. The wetland was calm and pristine, unlike anything I’ve seen in Southeast Asia. The observation tower gave us a 360-degree view of nature at its purest. Then came the ficus tree — so massive, so mysterious. Hieu explained how it played a role in wartime resistance, and suddenly, this old tree became a monument. Truly unforgettable.
I never imagined such untouched wilderness still existed. Minh guided us with such calm and deep respect for nature. The boat ride through the green canals of Lung Ngoc Hoang felt almost surreal — no tourists, just birdsong, rustling leaves, and peace. Climbing the observation tower was a highlight — endless green as far as the eye could see. The short trek through the wetland gave me a strong sense of connection to the land. The giant ficus tree felt almost sacred, and Minh’s war stories made it come alive in my imagination.
