Lung Ngoc Hoang is not your typical Instagram spot—it’s better. It’s quiet, lush, and absolutely raw. Duy guided us through the forest by boat and told us about conservation efforts and the natural diversity of the region. I loved the walk through the flat forest path, where you could hear nothing but birds and rustling leaves. And then the giant war ficus tree—absolutely surreal. It felt like a tree that had seen everything. A powerful, grounding tour.

Thomas was a thoughtful, humble guide who shared stories from the war era that gave meaning to the giant ficus tree. There’s something grounding about visiting a place like this.
