Different time of the year, the gardens will grow different fruits and vegetables such as jackfruit, ambarella (June plum), lychee, dragon fruit, coconut, guava, star fruit, noni, custard apple, cherimoya (soursop), sapodilla, mangosteen, tamarind, breadfruit, kumquat, Vietnamese green apple, mango, rambutan, pomelo (grapefruit), passionfruit, dragon eyes (longan), lotus, rose apple, papaya, banana, sugar cane, mints, unique Asian herbs, turmeric (yellow and dark), ginger, and even the fish pond…

Pick & Taste at least 5 different seasonal freshest fruits in the gardensWhen you arrive at the fruit gardens. We will walk to the orchard. We will talk a bit about fruit tree health and care. The guests of all ages can walk around with our garden expert tour guide, learn how to find the ripest fruits and get picking— even tasting along the way or under the shades.
About a 3 hours fruit garden tour included the transfer and drop off at the hotel in Can Tho city. -

Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
This was an unforgettable afternoon immersed in the heart of the Mekong Delta. We were guided by the ever-so-patient Thomas, who made the experience feel personal and warm. Walking through the lush gardens, learning about jackfruit and mangosteen, and being able to pick and eat straight from the trees—pure magic. I especially loved tasting the lychees under the shade with Thomas sharing stories about Vietnamese traditions. This isn’t just a fruit tour, it’s a real taste of life in the Mekong.
This fruit garden tour was an absolute delight from start to finish. Our guide Lam’s passion for local agriculture shone through as we visited three different seasonal fruit gardens nestled in peaceful Mekong villages. It was fascinating to learn about the care and health of the fruit trees while strolling through lush orchards filled with an incredible variety of fruits — from dragon fruit to rambutan, star fruit, and even unique Asian herbs like turmeric and mint. Picking and tasting at least five fresh seasonal fruits right from the garden made the experience truly interactive and memorable. The calm and green surroundings made it a relaxing escape, and the knowledgeable guide ensured we understood the significance of each fruit and plant. A perfect half-day tour for anyone wanting a taste of authentic Mekong Delta life.
