This early morning adventure was absolutely worth the wake-up call! Our guide, Duy, met us in Can Tho and brought the floating market to life with fascinating stories about the history and daily river life. Sipping fresh pineapple on the boat felt like a true “Good Morning Vietnam” moment. The visit to the rice noodle factory was charming and delicious — the colorful noodles and homemade noodle pizza made by the family left a lasting impression. Exploring the tropical fruit garden was a refreshing break before a peaceful sampan ride through the serene canals. Seeing local children playing and watching daily life unfold was a perfect glimpse into Mekong culture. Ending with a tasty authentic lunch made the experience complete. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a genuine Mekong experience!
This was the perfect way to experience the real Mekong Delta in just one day. We were picked up in Ho Chi Minh City early and arrived in Can Tho just in time for sunrise. Our guide, Chi, greeted us warmly and took us directly to the Cai Rang floating market, which was lively and colorful. She explained everything so well and even helped us buy fresh fruit from a local boat vendor.
After the market, we visited a local noodle house, and it was amazing to watch how rice noodles are made by hand. The noodle pizza was surprisingly good! We then continued to a peaceful tropical fruit garden and had a relaxing sampan ride through quiet canals—one of the most tranquil moments of our trip.
Lunch was delicious and authentic, served at a lovely riverside spot. We were dropped back to Ho Chi Minh by late afternoon, feeling both relaxed and inspired. Great value and unforgettable memories!
