When people ask me what to see in Mekong today. I tell them view our MekongDelta365.
Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
This wasn’t a “highlight reel” tour — it was something much more honest. Minh guided us through the Mekong with a light touch and great storytelling. You could tell he loves where he’s from.
Ben Tre had a rustic charm I didn’t expect. We tasted candy from women who’ve been making it for 30 years. Can Tho gave us a taste of daily life on the river — from floating breakfast to rice noodle pizza. And I loved the small canal ride, where even the dogs seemed to nap in peace.
The final day in Tra Su was a masterclass in quiet beauty. Minh helped me spot five kinds of birds. He knew their names in Vietnamese, Latin, and even German!
I thought I was just booking a detour. I left with a deep respect for this region.
