Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
The sound of engines, laughter, and water splashing — that’s how the day began for us. Duy, our guide, waved to almost everyone we passed; it seemed like he knew half the river. The sun was already high, but the energy around was pure joy. I never realized how organized chaos could feel so beautiful — small boats trading fruits, people chatting, smiles everywhere. Duy explained the market like telling a friend’s story, and somehow it all made sense. Fresh pineapple, bright skies, and a rhythm you can feel — comme une danse, just like a dance.
The river was still wrapped in morning fog when our sampan gently slipped away from the pier. Guide Chris smiled and handed me a warm cup of local coffee — simple, rich, unforgettable. All around us, boats drifted like ghosts carrying fruit and flowers. Chris told stories about river families, each one tied to the water for generations. I felt like I was witnessing a secret world awaken. The noodles we ate were delicious, but the calm and kindness of people were what stayed with me. C’est la vraie vie, the real life indeed.
