Can Tho Rice Noodle Factory & Villages
Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
The 3 PM tour with guide Jade was bellissima! The afternoon light reflected gold on the water as we cruised past small houses and kids waving from the banks. Jade was patient and warm, answering every question with genuine interest. We stopped by a pineapple boat, tasted, and talked about the vendor’s life growing up in the delta. Then came the sunset — a mix of orange and lilac, so poetic it almost didn’t look real. I could feel the peace of this place, like time had slowed down. Un ricordo per sempre — a memory forever.
I took the 9 AM option with guide Thomas, curious to see the market in daylight. The heat was strong, aber schön, the kind that makes you slow down and really observe. Boats drifted lazily, families waved, and Thomas shared stories about how generations have lived off the river. No breakfast this time, but I didn’t mind — fresh mango and pineapple made up for it. What struck me most was the simplicity of it all: no rush, no noise, just honest daily work. Thomas made me feel like I was visiting friends, not just tourists. Danke, my friend!
