Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
I joined the 5 AM tour with guide Minh, and it was truly magnifique! The sky was still a deep blue when our boat glided out from the pier. Soon the floating market came alive — women selling pineapples, men brewing coffee right on their boats. Minh was such a joy to be around; his English was clear, and his laughter contagious. We had breakfast on the river, with coffee that smelled like heaven. Watching locals trade from boat to boat reminded me how deeply life here is tied to the water. It’s not just a market, it’s a living tradition. Merci beaucoup, Minh, for such a memorable morning!
Chris led us on a late afternoon journey that was both relaxing and insightful. He has a special gift for storytelling, and he made the floating market feel alive even in its quieter hours. The village walk felt genuine and untouched — no shops, no staged scenes, just real life and kind people. The small canal was the highlight for me: sunlight reflecting on the water, the gentle movement of the sampan, and the stillness all around. This was not just a tour — it was a moment of connection with something slower and more meaningful.
