Can Tho Rice Noodle Factory & Villages
Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
We took the earliest tour and it felt like we were gliding through a dream. The sky slowly lightened as David navigated us toward the Cai Rang floating market. The energy of the vendors, the breakfast on the river, and the coffee prepared right on the boat made it all feel surreal. David was deeply knowledgeable but also kind and easygoing — it felt like we were exploring with a friend. The small canal afterward, blanketed in green, was like another world. We’re leaving Can Tho with memories that will stay with us for years.
We joined the afternoon tour hoping to avoid the crowds and heat — and it was a perfect choice. Lâm is a patient, thoughtful guide who gave us space to absorb the surroundings while always being ready with a story. The floating market was quiet, but we still saw local trade and tasted the sweetest pineapple of our trip. The canals we floated through were shaded and stunning — truly the Mekong at its most gentle. The village walk gave us a glimpse into lives lived in harmony with the river. It felt like a gift.
