Can Tho Rice Noodle Factory & Villages
Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.
This 3 PM sampan tour with Duy was a quiet and introspective journey. We weren’t looking for a packed itinerary — just something meaningful and local — and this was it. Duy guided us through the floating market and pointed out details I wouldn’t have noticed on my own. The soft afternoon light gave everything a golden tone. We especially enjoyed the brief walk through the riverside village, where time felt slower. The 20-minute canal drift, framed by tall nipa palms, was absolutely stunning as the sun began to set.
I was hesitant about waking up so early, but Minh’s positive energy at 5 AM lifted our spirits. The floating market came alive with real activity, not a tourist show — that meant a lot to us. We slurped noodles while watching boats glide past and Minh explained the deep significance of river commerce in the Mekong Delta. The canal segment was my favorite — it was almost meditative. I was amazed by how much we experienced in just a few hours. Highly recommend for early risers!
